After the Charleston Gazette and the Charleston Daily Mail merged to create the Charleston Gazette-Mail, a rebranding took place and I was asked to quickly develop a new blog template to reflect the new branding but also because the current blog template was severely outdated and worked terribly on mobile and tablet devices. The newly developed blog template gave each blog a more standalone feel but still reflected the new branding and Gazette-Mail affiliation. The redesign also gave blog writers more flexibility with their content and provided much more useful social media sharing options.
